Today's gconf2 upgrade hangs (2.26.2-3ubuntu1, dist: Karmic Alpha 3)

Bug Description

apt-get upgrade hung today when configuring gconf2. It could not be aborted by pressing Ctrl+C, only by killing the process with killall apt-get or killall dpkg.

xxxxx@phenom:~$ sudo dpkg --configure --pending
Processing triggers for python-support ...
Setting up gconf2 (2.26.2-3ubuntu1) ...
