Bug Description

This is more of a feature request, but I think aptdaemon should have functions, either for inserting a completely new sources.list from a file or support for adding and removing repos and components.
This is part of the grand plan to refactor software-properties to use aptdaemon instead of sudo

You can use add_repository to add a line to sources.list, however you can't remove or edit one. Marking as confirmed

What functions do you suggest? remove_repository(type,url,dist,comp)? this could also be used to remove a single component. There is some logic in apt.sources that would handle this.

milestone: none → 0.4.0

Yes, a remove_repository is probably needed. Maybe also a disable_distro_component (calling disable_component in distro.py) as we already have an enable_distro_component
