in Jaunty it worked OK. Then I upgraded and it stopped working.

I downgraded to 0.99.3-2ubuntu4 from jaunty and it did not help, so the problem will be probably somewhere else. Any idea?

Hello,

This bug affects me too on Karmic Alpha3 (x86_64).
It worked one week before I think (on Karmic Alpha2).

I don't know if it's a bug on xserver-xorg-input-synaptics because all is ok when I login on the GDM.
So I confirm what it's reported there https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gsynaptics/+bug/405966 but I havn't install gsynaptics !

The installation of this package "xserver-xorg-input-synaptics - 1.1.2-1ubuntu1~wgrant1" doesn't resolve the bug.

I confirm that in gdm it works, even if GNOME is loaded and I select Switch user. And what more, it looks like a gnome problem, because in XFCE4 everything goes well! So we should probably close this bug as INVALID and open it in gnome package.
