Bug Description

I have one partiton /dev/hda2 that it's correctly mounted on boot and shows in the desktop, but I like that it doesn't do this so I try to unmount it via the popup menu. But an error appear saying that I don't have permission to do that and need root access.

I think that the correct way to do this it's present a dialog box for the root password.

Thanks

you can easily unmount it using shell , you dont need in this case to have an interface to do it. But i think that can be more usefull to people that havent got a lot of confidence with shell.

Assign to package nautilus, that the mount is called with gksu in order to ask for password.

Assigned to package kdebase, , that konqueror calls the mount with kdesu in order to ask for password.

I should have said. I tested it on feisty Gnome/nautilus and it works without problems.

Tested it on kubuntu feisty with konqueror, and it works. However, it is a little bit more complicated in Kubuntu since the partition must be first enabled through System Settings->Disk Management. However, the permission can be set there to if users are allowed to mount or unmount the enabled drives
