Bug Description

Binary package hint: secvpn

I attempted to install vpn and pptp related packages to jaunty 9.04.
using the tool synaptic package manager.
This was part of an effort to install
vpn to jaunty, then to connect jaunty as a client to a remote winxp (as the vpn server)

Prior to using synaptic pkg mgr,
I used - sudo apt-get install pptp-linux ppp pptpd -
and there was no apparent problem
(If u need the output details, I have a record for this install)

Then I used synaptic pkg mgr
I cannot remember all the packages that I selected (+ auto dependencies) when I was
using the synaptic pkg mgr.

I installed 8.10 6 months ago without any problems.
I installed jaunty 9.04 07/25/09 without noticeable problems.

Being a newby, let me know what other info you need, for me to help out.
