Some network and usb devices problem last week

Bug Description
In the last week (I dont remember all packages I updated, but remember kernel 2.6.28.14.XX), I started found some problems with my wired network. First it cant connect (two diferent networks), loosing some packages (checked for ping).
After workarounds with NetworkManager, and get out nm-applet (trying first with KnetworkManager and Kdenetwork-
Then, yesterday I found that my SDCard reader is not working more (this is a common usb device embended [low end notebook!]). "Cat" at .../log/messages shows that devices (sdbx, sdcx) are correctly created, but Devices-
Two problems appear to be hal or dbus related, but I really dont know.
The only other suspicious message I found was a pulseaudio related, at boot:
hda-intel: IRQ timing workaround is activated for card #0. Suggest a bigger bdl_pos_adj
