Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

I have just upgraded to ubuntu 9.10 for testing ...
The problem is I have several pdf file icons ( with thumbnails ) on my desktop ...
I have aligned the icons manually for better views ....
Now, everytime I log in, the position of the icons changing automatically ...
I rearranged the icons, and run `killall nautilus` then when the nautilus loads it also rearrange the icon position automatically ...
I think the effect is the same as applying "Clean up by name" ...

Any ideas ?

I thought it is a result of previous system configurations/ settings ...
So, I deleted all gnome-related conf files ( i.e., .gtk/gnome* in $HOME )
Still, the icons positions changing automatically for each session ...
