The proposed weekly bug report plugin for Trac (https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/377665) should render a graph after querying the Trac database. The proposed library for rendering the .png graph is matplotlib (http://matplotlib.sourceforge.net).

The resulting html and png files should also be written to disk in an archive type of folder structure.
