Bug Description
I'm working on Windows XP using a Wacom Bamboo tablet running the nightly build: Inkscape21627-
In the input device dialog there are strange characters - maybe it's a bug?

Related to bug #334800. Leaving this one open to address the display of strange names. Internally names are cleaned up for settings and functional use.
