Searching is limited to artist/title/album at the moment

Currently, one can only search the collection panel / playlists for artist / title / album strings. Yet, classical music listeners also need at least compositor and director. I think a fair way to content these users without losing efficience would be to setup a setting in the preferences to allow users to pick the searchable tags among all the available tags.

note that you can explicitly search for a given tag by specifying it explicitly. eg:

composer==bach director="dr awesome"

Isn’t this issue actually resolved by this? Searching for each and every tag is not feasible for performance reasons so the current solution should fit all needs.

Already fixed imo. The collection tree will search the 'standard' set of tags, plus any contained in the current tree structure, and as noted above specific tags can be queried by name.
