You should use a field element to show the name of the file proceeded in the hashing dialod (indexing progress). So user can scroll the field to view the file name if the path is long.
Aor you can show only file name and use the title element (tip) on mouse over to show the full path and file name. Check the tip position and the path length to prevent the screen oversizing.

Don't really agree on changing the label to something else, but tooltip could be used to show the full path.
