Thanks for your bug report. I'm sure the people of the Ubuntu Art team will have look and see how their consensus is. It'd have just been nice if the tone of your report had been less commanding though.

Sorry, it wasn't intended to be commanding, but I definately see how it can easily be taken that way.

What do you mean "I'm sure the people of the Ubuntu Art team will have look and see how their consensus is"? Because no one seems to be doing so. If you mean irc ubuntu-art...it's dead. If you mean irc dapper-look....nothing is ever said, though peole are there for some reason other than discussing etc...

The nav icons do not match anything anywhere in the desktop color scheme. It's close to progressbars, range slider trough, and checks/options, but those are that color because, as Mark puts it, they are not seen often. Nav icons are seen often and really should be toned down to follow this concept and flow with the rest of the desktop. Consistency.

I see this a personal opinion, frankly speaking I like the arrows as they are. That said I'll surelly consider contributed arrows, which follows the tango guidelines (and tangerine colors).
Regarding irc I use to hang on #ubuntu-art, but I don't remember anyone bringing up this argument, but I don't spend all my life on irc :-)

Well it's Marks personal opinion that this color not be seen often ;) There's a guideline for ya.
So that's the bottom line and why the project was posted here? From here on out it's finished, but you'll take contributed icons? cya

Perhaps I was not clear enough, we have limited resourses and time and there are a lot of icon to do/recolor for tangerine, so I'm saying that I'm not going to spend my time on those icons because from my point of view those are fine. As I said many times I'll consider for inclusion a contributed full set of arrows.
Why are you asking why the project is posted here?
