bubble becomes blurry without composite

Binary package hint: notify-osd

after the upgrade to notify-osd 0.9.15 I'm getting a blurry bubble if i select the bubble with the mouse pointer and then remove the pointer from the area so it can be draw again, this doesn't happen with previous version of notify-osd. note that I'm currently using a non composite manager (metacity) due to a crash. I'm attaching an screenshot. thanks.

The beautification of bubble-rendering for the non-composite case I've not have had time for yet. This is another regression due to the refactoring work to get the composite-case closer to the spec. I'm sorry. Not sure when I'll be able to address this.

If you cannot get it done for Karmic, maybe we poor non-composite users can have an option to completely disable the blur effect?

The fix for this is actually in the branch lp:~macslow/notify-osd/face-prevention (yes, I mistyped the branch-name when pushing it to lp, it's called face-prevention, but actually should read fade-prevention). This branch will get merged to trunk once it has been reviewed and approved.
