In "Start", "Due" Date input boxes, text remains black

Bug Description

For those of us with dark themes (eg. people like me who use white text on black background to reduce eyestrain), the "Due Date" and Start Date" Input fields have black text on a black background. Any chance of changing this to use the GTK themes' colors instead? Maybe some sort of notification should pop if an invalid date is entered, instead of changing the text color?

I'm not sure this bug is related to GTG, since this input entry is used with default settings.

Well, not really. I have been having problems with some web pages, with some sites that specify the foreground but not the background for textareas and text input boxes, but that's not really relevant and can be fixed through usercontent.css.

If you're running Ubuntu, try one of the "High Contrast Inverse" themes; it's showing up there for me.

Indeed, we are setting the color to black, that's a shame. (editor.py, line 282).
