Binary package hint: kubuntu-desktop
The notification sound for "KDE is exiting" is to long and causes the user to wait for the sound effect to finish before they are logged out. This makes a slow feeling OS..
If in System Notifications you disable the logout sound the logout is much faster. so lets use a sound that is vary short. perhaps one simple piano note.

The logout sound has been changed to a single 1-second note for KDE 4.5.
