Bug Description

Binary package hint: gwibber

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open the about window
2. Click on the Close button
3. The window does not close and a exception is raised. Trackback:
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/gwibber/client.py", line 859, in <lambda>
    dialog.connect("response", lambda *a: dialog.hide())
NameError: free variable 'dialog' referenced before assignment in enclosing scope

This is only happening in Ubuntu. In gwibber trunk branch does not happen.

Hi Ara,

Is this bug still bothering you in Ubuntu. I don't seem to be able to reproduce. Possibly it's fixed in one of the releases between your bug report and now. If so I'd like to close this bug.

I tried to reproduce this issue in gwibber (2.0.0 bzr478) and works fine for me, Can you try to reproduce this issue in latest version of gwibber? Thanks!

It happens also with gwibber shipped with Karmic. However it does not happen every time. I triggered it three times in the row and now it looks okay.
