Bug Description

When I click with right button in the desktop, I only have the option to organize the icons by name. On the other hand, when I do the same operation in a folder I have more organization options, like size and date. I think that when the user clicks with the right button on the desktop, the menu should have the item "organize items" with the same options like a folder. For me, it is interesting to organize by date, for example. Thus, the most recent icons/items is going to be in the right side of the oldest ones.

Thank you for bringing this bug to our attention. However, a paper cut should be a small usability issue , in the default Ubuntu 9.10 install , that affects many people and is quick and easy to fix. So this bug can't be addressed as part of the project.

this is a feature request which makes it 'not a papercut'

For further info about papercuts criteria , pls read > https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PaperCut

Don't worry though, This bug has been marked as "invalid" ONLY in the papercuts project.
