Bug Description

Xubuntu Karmic Koala daily build (I tried the one built on 2009.07.14) includes the Gnome 2.27.x desktop environment instead of Xfce 4. The live image and the installed version is also impacted.

Thank you for reporting this issue. This is not a valid bug because Xfce session is included. The new gdm defaults to gnome-session, and you must choose xfce-session at the bottom of the screen. This is true for both images after installing. The karmic-desktopCD also includes xfce-session, but since the default is now gnome-session and you do not see the login screen, you are not given the opportunity to choose your session.

Please continue to report bugs. Your help to improve Xubuntu is appreciated.
