We've been talking with Danilo about making the translations process more community-driven.
With that in mind, it would make sense to let any member of the Ubuntu Translations Coordinators team (https:/

This would mean adding this task to those they can perform.

Just for the sake of completion, I'll mention that this now works by going to:
https:/ /translations. launchpad. net/ubuntu/ +configure- translations
Now any member of the UTC team can set the translation focus (tested on staging).
