using the latest bzr source, i don't get the journal to open anymore.
After starting the trayicon and clicking on it, i get the following:

Hmm, looks like the warnings have nothing to do with the gui not appearing.
The problem is that the journal view displays files which are on a non available nfs drive

The GNOME Zeitgeist project for creating a GUI is now called GNOME Activity Journal, and yesterday we released the first version of it.
