Binary package hint: f-spot
When I select to view a photo in fullscreen, or use a slideshow view, I see a taskbar entry for the fullscreen window, but it doesn't actually appear. It seems to grab keyboard focus though, because pressing Escape makes it go away.

The issue is a gtk one and has been fixed upstream to git
