No email notification for removed files?

I subscribed to branch lp:piaget in order to receive email notifications about all revisions to that branch. It has worked fine so far, except for one revision (#87) for which I -- and other subscribers -- didn't get anything. The only difference between this revision and others is that it only removed files and a directory (no add or mod.) Is it normal not to get notified about file/dir removals? if so, is there any way I can get notified about these too?

My current subscription settings (and since before #87) are:

- Notification Level: Branch attribute and revision notifications

- Generated Diff Size Limit: Send entire diff

- Code review Level: Email about all changes

The removed files had high-bit characters, so this is a dupe of bug #371469.
