Bug Description

Recently I had extremely poor openGL performance using the nvidia driver (much worse than software rendering should be). I checked dmesg and Xorg.0.log but didn't find anything, but soon found nvidia-kernel-common wasn't installed. Installing it immediately fixed the issue, but really it should at least be recommended by nvidia-glx-... or something so this usually happens automatically.

I have found in the past that I've wanted to reinstall or temporarily remove some nvidia driver packages though, so having nvidia packages only recommend one another and not depend on each other is useful.

Thanks,
Diggory
