Bug Description
Binary package hint: filezilla
FileZilla installs fine from the terminal using:
sudo aptitude update && sudo aptitude install filezilla
(I would like to include a pastebin report, since it removed an excessive amount of packages, or so it seemed.)
http://
However, if you attempt to install it from Add/Remove Applications, you receive this message:
"FileZilla FTP Client cannot be installed on your computer type (i386)
Either the application requires special hardware features or the vendor decided not to support your computer type. "
Manually downloading the FileZilla executables and running them also works fine. There are no compatibility issues with FileZilla with a i386 computer, on Ubuntu 9.04.
ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: i386
Dependencies:
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04
NonfreeKernelMo

ProcEnviron:

Also happens to me, must be a synaptic issue. Installs fine via aptitude, apt-get, manual dpkg, and gdebi (using aptitude download filezilla to get the deb).
