power history doesn't take hd sleep into account

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

Power history logging into ~/.gnome2/gnome-power-manager/ doesn't take hd sleep into account and keeps spinning up hd even when rest of the system is optimized (read: configured) for long hd sleeps. Furthermore, there is no control to allow disabling power history logging or reducing the time interval of the logging writes.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Jaunty Jackalope.
