Bug Description

Distributing binary packages without scripts showing most functionality makes not much sense. Install scripts/test and examples to $PREFIX/share/yade$VERSION/.

scons now installs everything in examples, doc, scripts into $PREFIX/share/doc/yade$VERSION-doc as per debian policies. If building debian package, this contents is separated in a -doc pkg. See http://yade.wikia.com/wiki/DebianPackages.
