HI,

I had solved the problem by the following command line :

sudo apt-get update
-> when it was done a message appears, informing me an error exist, please type : sudo apt-get -f install

when was done :
sudo apt-get upgrade

no more problem with the update alert nor the update with "add/remove" program

resolved for me
