Bug Description
Binary package hint: gvfs
I'm using karmic, and GNOME, more or less up to date.
When I log in, I get a dialog window asking me to approve or reject an attempt to mount /dev/sdd1.
/dev/sdd1 is an unused partition on one of the fixed hard disks in the system, not a removable drive. It is surprising to me that the system attempts to automatically mount it for me, when I don't want it mounted.
The automatic mounting (I assume it is gvfs, please reassign if not) should only happen for removable drives, not fixed ones.

Confirming, same thing occurs for me on Karmic.
