Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager

I am running ubuntu 9.04 on a Dell latitude e4300 and NM 7.0.100

I use 3 UK mobile broadband with a dongle Huawei h169g.

The connection to 3 is set up with "connect automatically".

-Automatic connection works only after start up or after plugging the dongle.
-If mobile network is not available the connection is lost. however when the network is again available NM does not connect automatically and manual selection is necessary.
-Same behaviour on resuming from hibernation

In my opinion the expected behaviour should be the same as for WiFi connection. If "connect automatically" is enabled and the dongle is plugged in, then NM should try to set up a connection as long as the network is available.
