trackpad configuration is reset after suspend&resume

Bug Description

In powerpc-utils, there is the utility 'trackpad' to configure trackpad tapping.

I use 'sudo trackpad notap' to disable tabs.

However: this is reset after suspend&resume, and the trackpad uses taps again.

This is perhaps similar to Bug #18605 "Touchpad doesn't tap-to-click anymore after suspend"

Same for me! I also think it is a regression to Breezy where it worked fine.

After recent updates, the behavior has changed. It seems that notap is the default setting, however the bug is still valid in the sense that configuration changes with 'trackpad' are reset after resume.

What version of Ubuntu did this problem happen? Is it fixed already?
