Bug Description

Distribution: Ubuntu 9.10 alpha 2 - karmic koala
before it begins to burn on the DVD i get that error message, i have tried with many DVD to see where is the problem and finally i have figured it out that it is in the system.

Thanks for your report, could you run brasero from the command line as: brasero --brasero-media-debug --debug &> brasero-debug.txt perform the operation to reproduce the bug and attach the resulting file to the report?. Thanks in advance

now, it is even worse, it does not even recognize my recorder dvd devicem see what happens in the screenshot

and i do have a record device which i can use under ms windows 7

when i do what you told me to type in the terminal, i get this:

manzur@manzur-desktop:~$ brasero --brasero-media-debug --debug &> brasero-debug.txt
Segmentation fault
manzur@manzur-desktop:~$
