Bug Description

When closing the Ubuntu Studio Controls panel with the 'X' in the upper right corner (instead of clicking the Close button) the window closes but Ubuntu Studio Controls cannot be restarted.

The error given is "Only one instance of Ubuntu Studio Controls can be run at a time".

Using Ubuntu Studio 8.04 (full install from DVD, not upgrade from vanilla Ubuntu)
Linux Kernel 2.6.24-24-rt
Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.40GHz

After reboot Ubuntu Studio Controls runs as expected.

Attached is a debdiff that fixes this issue. I moved the lock file removal to the closeButton_clicked method, renamed it to close_window, and hooked but the close button click and window destroy signals to it.

I just realized I reference the wrong bug in the changelog. I guess I should just make sure it is not auto-closed. Doh.
