Bug Description

i am using ubuntu 8.10 and i was trying to upgrade packages and this was the error msg:

package linux-image-2.6.27-7-generic 2.6.27-7.14 failed to install/upgrade : unable to make backup link of `./boot/vmlinuz-2.6.27-7-generic' before installing new version: Operation not permitted
