Bug Description
Binary package hint: python-nautilus
Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04 Amd64
python_nautilus 0.5.1-0ubuntu2
python 2.6.2
I tried loading a nautilus python script. When it didn't work I tried the example scripts. The scripts do get executed, and by tracing the progress line by line, I found out the problem is in including the module nautilus. Adding the directory in which nautilus.py is found to the PYTHONPATH with export didnt work. Installing the python-dev package didnt help either. It looks like an old bug, but it was supposed to be fixed.

Thanks for this bug report and sorry for the late answer. doc/python- nautilus/ README. Debian or /usr/share/ doc/python- nautilus/ examples/ README for more information on where to copy those scripts.
The example scripts in the python-nautilus package need to be copied to the right directory in order to be run by nautilus.
They cannot be run directly from an interpreter. This is why you get an error when the example script tries to load the nautilus module.
