When booting, policykit-1-gnome attempts to mount other partitions that are not located in fstab.

Thanks for reporting. Can you check whether the 1.3.1-0ubuntu3 version of gvfs fixes this?

I'm afraid to say that the new version of gvfs hasn't stopped the problem from occurring.

Confirming this behavior in karmic 64-bit, gvfs 1.3.1-0ubuntu3, kernel 2.6.30-10.12. Very annoying as it asks for Admin Authentication during start-up, and Preferences | Authorizations does not allow me to change the auth level for mounting internal disks........

I'm not sure it's policykit, and the only reason I thought it might be is because that is the process asking me to automount.

Seems to be duplicate. The mentioned steps to reproduce show exactly what's described in this bug report.
