Rhythmbox doesn't dock

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

since karmic upgrade rhythmbox doesn't appear in icon tray, it's a really minor bug but really annoying too. my karmic is up to date:

i'm such a noob i can't use svn repo of RB so it's the last package avalaible : 0.12.2

i don't get what option you're talking about but i'm quite sure there's no such thing in RB menu
that was automatic in previous versions
i agree the wishlist thing but if you could tell me how to "complete" the request...

the icon is a plugin which has options

Hi, rhythmbox icon appears in dock but when I close the window, it close totally, It doesn't keep running in dock.
I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty.

i dont know if this can help :
by default (hardy, intrepid, jaunty) transmission and rhythmbox docks without configuration
since activated, transmission docks in karmic (what was not necessary in previous releases), RB does not

I try to reproduce this in Karmic up to date with rhythmbox 0.12.3 and works fine for me (when I close rhythmbox is still there such as system icon). Can you try to run a upgrade for your system or upgrade your actually rhythmbox to latest version and then try to reproduce this error.

sorry i didn't make myself clear
RB does appear in the icon tray but stays tabbed below when it used to disappear
i'm using RB 0.12.5 and Karmic with 2.6.31-10-generic kernel

could you run gconftool-2 -R /apps/rhythmbox/plugins/status-icon and copy the log there?

by setting it to 3 works fine
