Upgrading to mcpp 2.5-1ubuntu2 will remove important software

Bug Description

Synaptic signals that software such as gdm or gksu will have to be removed to upgrade from mcpp 2.5-1ubuntu1 to mcpp 2.5-1ubuntu2. This seems strange to me since I don't know how gnome could run without gdm.
