Bug Description
After the upgrade from KDE 4.3beta2 to 4.3-rc1, akonadi doesn't work any more at all:
* All akonadi resources (calendar, contacts) have disappeared from Kontact.
* The akonadi configuration page cannot be accessed from the system settings application. (There is just no icon for akonadi.)
* After login, "akonadictl status" says: "Akonadi Control: stopped, Akonadi Server: stopped". Even after a "akonadictl start", which gives the following output:

the resources are not available in Kontact.
Talking to people in #kde on IRC has shown that this is possibly a packaging bug in Kubuntu, as no one else there had experienced this.
Are you in Jaunty or in Karmic?
