Bug Description

As in the summary I got several problems after installing fglrx drivers 8.620 from karmic repo and test my Radeon 4850. After rebooting the desktop shows correctly but:

* all windows haven't borders.

* it is impossible to open more than one application at a time, it occupies all the desktop (panel included); hitting crtl+f1 pops kickoff but is useless with mouse or keyboard; krunner pops in front but quickly goes behind the application. ctrl+f3 and ctrl+f4 not work. I can close application only from File menu (if any, see System Settings)

* all kde text fields aren't editable; gtk applications yes (firefox, openoffice). The only kde application whose search text field is editable is KPackageKit (?!).

* if I switch in a terminal with ctrl+alt+f1 I can't login since in my user password there is a "@" and AltGr not works.

I've switched back to xserver-xorg-video-radeon.

I'm using last kernel, 2.6.31-1-generic, in karmic 64bit full upgraded.

Some logs/file below.

Thanks

This bug report was filed against an old version of Ubuntu.
Can you confirm whether this is still an issue in natty?

If you don't mind, it would be very helpful if you could update the bug
report in launchpad to 'Fix Released' if it is no longer an issue for
you, or if it is still occurring under natty, please tag the bug 'natty'
so it's easier for us to track.

Also, if you could, please test against the latest development version of Ubuntu, since this confirms the bug is one we may be able to pass upstream for help.
