Description:

NOTE: This bug only occurs when compiz is enabled.

To create this bug, I switch my monitors (1280x800 and 1680x1050) to mirrored 1024x768 in order to start compiz. (If I attempt to start compiz while running both monitors at their native resolution, it says "Desktop effects could not be enabled". I turn on desktop effects, then switch the monitors to their optimal resolutions. After I do that, a region of the screen on the right side is not drawn correctly, as you can see in the screenshot.

Thanks, looks like this has all the info needed to send this upstream, however could you test one more thing before we send it up? Please install the latest update for -intel on karmic and verify it still is not fixed there (it has some improvements for dual-head cases):

Using up-to-date karmic I do not see this bug any more.
