Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubiquity
Right now I'm running Hardy. When I open a folder with icon images in it (.png, .svg with transparency) the small ones are all stretched out of proportion. Plus, they also have an ugly black border around them. I tried changing the dafault icon size in gconf editor but that didn't work. The problem didn't exist with previous releases (dapper to gutsy, nautilus 2.2.4 I think) but has persisted from hardy to jaunty.
To fix the problem myself I tried downgrading to nautilus.2.23.5 by installing from source but got this error instead ;-
undefined reference to `eel_background
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[4]: *** [nautilus] Error 1
make[4]: Leaving directory `/home/
make[3]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[3]: Leaving directory `/home/
make[2]: *** [all] Error 2
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/
make: *** [all] Error 2
To say it's irksome would be putting it mildly.
Please help!!
