Trying to change keyboard language doesnt work

i was trying to change my keyboard language ,i went to System-->Preferences-->Keyboard and there i changed the language but nothing .Keyboard language was the same of before .
I had to change it with shell and with adding something to a script file.

For me keyboard switching does not work either sometimes it would set the keymap but on gnome start it always fails.

The gnome keyboard properties produce an error dialog everytime I frob the settings and on gnoem startup.

Chyba při aktivaci nastavení XKB.
Může vzniknout za různých okolností:
- chyba v knihovně libxklavier
- chyba v X serveru (nástroje xkbcomp, xmodmap)
- X server s nekompatibilní implementací libxkbfile

Pokud budete tuto situaci hlásit jako chybu, uveďte prosím:
