evolution crashes when activating comboboxes

Bug Description

Binary package hint: evolution

I am running 2.27.3-0ubuntu3 on Ubuntu Karmic.

This bug is somewhat random. It does not seem to happen every time. When activating a gtkcombobox, the program will sometimes crash. According to gdb, the problem ends up on line 1703 in gtk/gtkcombobox.c. Further investigation shows that the variable "list" is inaccessible:
(gdb) print list
$1 = (GList *) 0x68573880
(gdb) print list->data
Cannot access memory at address 0x68573880

I have attached the full backtrace.
