Bug Description
Normally the "E-mail me about changes to this bug report" check box after the comment textarea is shown only if you are not already subscribed to the bug.
However, this is not updated when AJAX subscribing to a bug, so still appears until the next page refresh.
This surprised me the first time I subscribed a bug with the AJAX interface, and then decided I wanted to comment.
Ideally the AJAX-subscribe completion code would hide the checkbox on the current page, as well as doing all the updates within the subscribers portlet itself.

Low priority subscribing-related bugs should come after more important UI work the next two cycles, so un-setting any milestone for now. But this should be an easy fix in any subscribing refactoring that happens.
