Bug Description

wall is an old, well-known unix utility for a system administrator to broadcast a message to users, on the command line.

It would be nice if messages posted to 'wall' were also displayed to desktop users via notify-osd.

I'm not entirely sure if it would be better for wall.c to link against and use libnotify, or if the notify-osd daemon should handle messages broadcast via wall. Either way, this would be a nice thing to have. I'll file against both packages for now.

I second this,

and note that as different deamons exist already (notification-daemon, notify-osd) patching wall might be preferable.
