Binary package hint: evolution

When the filters window is opened, it's impossible to browse the mail in search of certain mail sender's address, object, body content, etc.

this imho is an usability issue

Thank you for your bug report. The issue is an upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug the to the people writting the software (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME)

Thanks for the report, I can actually do that with the evolution version from Karmic and IIRC the one on Jaunty worked fine that way as well, I use that feature to create filters based on email addresses that i search during the creating of the filter so yes it works ok, could you try with the one on Karmic and comment back?
