I can not change brightness in Aspire 5738Z...

If im not wrong, the video card is a GF 105, and using nvidia software i was able to config brightness.
Also you could try Envy to setup the card for you.

yes. this bug is still seen even in the latest version of ubuntu and is still seen even after the latest update. kindly look into this and give me a fix as soon as possible and enable me to completely switch over to linux.
