Bug Description
Dapper 6 boot menu never appears. When the installation begins it shows some text briefly before the menu should appear, but I see only Ubuntu logo, nothing else, and the installation wont start by pressing enter and it is completely unresponsive. Dapper Flight 4 installed okay and apt-getting upgrades over it worked fine. Haven't tested flight5 CD yet.
Hardware is Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo M1437G laptop and it requires fglrx drivers to start xorg. (Pentium-M 740 Processor, ATI Radeon x700 display, SATA HDD).

This is know problem with ATI x700/x800 with Flight 5 & 6.
It was fixed recently (see bug 34592), therefore if you take daily CD you will get the menu. There is however bug 31974 that may hit you, but can be workaround by exiting the menu and boot from text.
