no userspace application must be able to crash the video driver. your kernel log indicates that your kernel is hung in some sort of deadlock in the intel driver. I'm therefore reassigning to the intel driver, but I suspect the actual problem is already fixed in a later kernel version. The xorg maintainers in ubuntu should know best.

affects: xine-ui (Ubuntu) → xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu)

Could you please run `apport-collect 393041` to upload relevant xorg logs to this bug report? (or failing that, at least /etc/X11/xorg.conf, /var/log/Xorg.0.log and output of `lspci -vvnn`).

Hi shay-rossignol,

Please attach the output of `lspci -vvnn`, and attach your /var/log/Xorg.0.log (and maybe Xorg.0.log.old) file from after reproducing this issue. If you've made any customizations to your /etc/X11/xorg.conf please attach that as well.

[This is an automated message. Apologies if it has reached you inappropriately; please just reply to this message indicating so.]
