Bug Description

Thinkfinger is not working on a fresh install of Jaunty. I followed the installation instructions on the Thinkwiki page. I had no problem with tf-tool --acquire and tf-tool verify.

I get Password or swipe finger prompt on su (and it works when I swipe the finger), but I do not get the swipe finger bit on the gdm logon screen. I am running:

Linux 2.6.28-13-generic #44-Ubuntu SMP Tue Jun 2 07:55:09 UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux

And I installed via the PPA repository:

libpam-thinkfinger 0.3+r118-0ubuntu5~ppa1
libthinkfinger0 0.3+r118-0ubuntu5~ppa1
thinkfinger-tools 0.3+r118-0ubuntu5~ppa1

Small section of my common-auth:

(...)
# here are the per-package modules (the "Primary" block)
auth sufficient pam_thinkfinger.so
auth [success=1 default=ignore] pam_unix.so try_first_pass nullok_secure
# here's the fallback if no module succeeds
auth requisite
(...)

For context, I used thinkfinger in 7.10 and in 8.04. It still works really good on my 8.04 partition.

This is all happening on a lenovo x61 tablet.
